Terms of service

These terms apply when you buy a feature, add-on, awards package or any other service from Global Trading Outlook (“GTO”, “we”). By paying, you agree to them.

What you are buying

A written article about you or your organisation in the format you choose, published on our website and labelled as Partner Content, together with the share kit described for that format. Formats, word counts, placement periods and revision rounds are as listed on the Get Featured page at the time you pay.

Payment

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details. Prices are in US dollars unless stated otherwise. You receive a receipt and an invoice by email.

Your brief and materials

You agree that the information you give us is accurate and that you have the right to let us use the photos, logos and other materials you send. You’re responsible for any claims made in your answers and approved in your draft.

Our editorial rules

We may decline to publish, or remove, content that we can’t verify, that makes performance or return claims, that could mislead readers, or that concerns a firm that fails our licence and warning-list checks. If we decline before publication, you receive a full refund. We keep the right to edit for clarity, accuracy, length and our house style.

Timing

We aim to publish within five business days of receiving your complete brief (48 hours with the rush add-on). The clock pauses while a draft is with you for review.

Homepage placements

Formats that include homepage time (Spotlight, Feature, Cover Story and the extra-week add-on) run for the number of days listed, starting on the day the article is published unless we agree a different start date. The homepage updates once a day, just after midnight UTC, so a placement starts and ends at that update. Each homepage position holds a fixed number of stories at a time. If the position you want is booked, we offer the next free start date before you pay.

Rights

We own the copyright in the articles we write. Once published, you may share, link to and quote your article anywhere, and republish it in full with a link to the original. You may use the “As featured in” badge for as long as your article is online.

No guaranteed results

We don’t guarantee any number of readers, clicks, clients or other business results.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for it.

Company details

We will publish our legal company name, registered address, company number and the law that governs these terms here before we accept any payment.
